Some truly appalling music alongside some wonderful stuff in the charts then. This release, as well as Humperdink’s, fit firmly in the former category. I never realised it was John Peel’s fault.

As I mentioned in the song thread many years ago, I’d wager that the plectrum line is a dig at Simon Blackwell (maybe a private joke between Nigel & Neil?), and the connection between the two lines is Steve Howe, but we’ll probably never know.
