No. Mam Tor is effectively a cliff face overlooking Castleton, Derbyshire.
You can climb it with crampons etc via route 1, or just take the leisurely scenic route strolling, up the back.

The photo is from Jacob’s Ladder or thereabouts – Kinder Scout is the plateau up to the left. Mam Tor is probably not quite visible from this point, but would be just off the right of the photo.
