GOK WAN ACOLYTE
It was dedicated to his mother but called “Dea Sancta et Gloria”.
Mother – The Musical (I’ve always wondered if it should be “Mother – The Musical!”) features lyrics by Ben Elton and music by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. It opened in 1995 to rave reviews and features such memorable numbers as “I’m gonna wash that American parvenu right out of my hair” “Luck be a horse in the 330 at Royal Ascot” and “Talk to the hoi-polloi”
