Blaby was the constituency of former Tory Chancellor Nigel ‘Lord’ Lawson, father of various children but not one called Robert.
A quick google reveals this https://www.thomsonlocal.com/search/robert/blaby-leicestershire which seems to suggest that everyone called Robert in Blaby is an optician. That would explain the Merc, although it also implies that the entire population of Blaby has pretty poor eyesight
